It’s back!  Popular casino promotion — “Wild Wired Week” — is happening right now at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino with the chance to cash in on some great gifts.  Members of Harrah’s Total Rewards Club will receive one “Wild Point” for every 25 Base Reward Credits earned while playing their favorite casino games.  Points can be accumulated from Monday, June 21 up until 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 26 at the Maricopa, Arizona casino location.

Points earned during the promotion can be cashed in from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on June 26 and June 27 and put towards an array of really cool gift items including cameras, gaming systems, TVs and more.  (We snagged a Vizio HD TV during last year’s promo!)  The mailer we received this year showed pics of these items:

• A Garmin Nuvi GPS Navigator with 4.3″ screen
• A Sony Vaio W Notebook PC
• A Nintendo DSi with one game
• Samsung 40″ HD LED TV

Also at Harrah’s Ak-Chin now through the end of October, guests have a chance to win cash and more during the casino’s weekend promotions featuring games from “The Price is Right.”  Players club members must swipe their cards on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am – 5 pm to be eligible for a guaranteed prize.  Lucky players can qualify for Free Slot Play™; a special “The Price Is Right” gift; Reward Credits®; or a chance to play The Big Wheel or Plinko.  I was out this past Saturday and won a chance to play Plinko during which I received three “pucks” to drop down the money board.  I ended up winning a nice $125 in slot play coupons after hitting the top $100 prize slot.

This club location has always been extremely busy so the bigger digs will definitely appeal to Ak-Chin casino visitors.  Also, since the lounge now has an attached kitchen, hot food items plus the pay-with-points-or-cash Agave’s menu will give loyal players a fun place to kick back and enjoy a light meal or snacks.

Here’s a run-down on some of the special Father’s Day events happening this Sunday around the state:

Fort McDowell Casino near Fountain Hills is having a special Father’s Day “Hot Seat” giveaway. From 10 am – 10 pm, members of the casino’s Fortune Club will be eligible to win $25 – $100 in free slot play, $20 in free gas or free “dining for two” coupons — all while playing their favorite slot or video poker games.  “Hot Seat” promotions are also being held at Bucky’s and Yavapai casinos in Prescott.

Harrah’s Ak-Chin will give Dads (and any player who qualifies) a certificate for a special Omaha Steaks® package containing eight gourmet burgers and franks for coming out Sunday and earning 200 base reward credits on the casino’s Total Rewards Card®.  The fine print:  Giveaway is limited to the first 500 participants who sign up at the players club desk and reward credits must be earned starting at 6 am on the 21st so you can’t use any existing points on your card to qualify.  An added bonus — participants get to keep the 200 credits needed to receive the gourmet goodies.

A special Father’s Day menu at the Wickiup Buffet plus a chance to putt a hole-in-one for cash and prizes is on the schedule at Apache Gold Casino near Globe.  Random drawings will be happening throughout the day and the lucky Dads chosen will get to pick a golf ball with a prize attached to it and then get three chances to putt a “hole-in-one” to win that prize.  Prizes include up to $200 in cash, free hotel stays at the casino’s Apache Gold Best Western Hotel and meals at their popular buffet restaurant.  You can find all the details at the casino’s Apache Gold Players Club section on their website.

Harrah's Ak-Chin near Phoenix will be giving away $60,000 in cash to lucky players on Memorial Day!

Harrah’s Ak-Chin in Maricopa is ushering in the summer in style with its “Memorial Day Money Madness” casino promotion.  More than $60,000 in cash is up for grabs when Total Rewards® players club members swipe their cards and play their favorite games to earn entries in this holiday giveaway event.

Players can earn entries starting at 6 a.m. May 21 all the way up to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 25th.  Entries are earned through slots, video poker and Blackjack play with one entry for every 25 Base Reward Credits tallied during the promotion days.

Drawings for cash will take place at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Memorial Day with FIVE WINNERS during each drawing.  Four people will win $500 each while one very lucky player will win $10,000 at EACH drawing!

Also on Memorial Day, guests can enjoy a free performance by national recording artists, The Platters, at 3 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the popular Oasis Lounge.

Head to Harrah's Ak-Chin for super Saturday drawings in April.

Now through April 25, Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa is hosting a new promotion — “Saturday Night Cash Fever” — with drawings for cash prizes up to $25,000!

Total Rewards Club® members will receive one free entry per day just for swiping their players club cards.  Casino players can also get one additional drawing entry for every 25 Base Reward Credits® they earn for their play.

Drawings will be held every Saturday beginning at 8 p.m. with a prize structure that includes guaranteed winners of $10,000 on April 4, 11 and 18 plus a guaranteed winner of $25,000 on the evening of April 25th.  Other cash prizes will be awarded on all Saturday drawing nights.  Players must be present to win.

Also debuting on weekends at Ak-Chin is the casino’s new “iCandy Blackjack Party Pit.”  Named after the sizzling, live dance revue that takes place in the Oasis Lounge every Friday and Saturday night, the new iCandy Party Pit offers live Blackjack tables featuring their new “Dealertainers” with tables open 7 p.m. – 1 a.m.
